1. Go through your child's artwork and decide which pieces you would like to include in your personal art photo book.
2. Label each piece of kids art using a post-it note with its title, school year & grade, child's last name and caption (for Gallery style only).
3. Determine whether you will take your own digital photos/scans of the artwork or let us digitize your kids artwork for you (extra cost).
4. Pick your favorite photo book from the styles available.
5. Decide on all the items you wish to purchase (you will only be able to order one original of each photo book style at a time yet can order as many duplicates as you wish).
6. Fill out order form at checkout.
7. Mail us your childrens artwork or digital images via snail mail or email (see instructions below)
8. Let us do all the work for you and enjoy your photo books.

You will only be able to purchase 1 original of each photo book style per order. You will, however, be able to order duplicates of the books within the same order. You will need to fill out a new order form for a new original of a photo book style you have already ordered.

1. Read the Artwork Release policy. You will need to agree to it during checkout.
2. Go to the Art Photo Books page and click on the image of the product you wish to purchase.
3. You will ONLY be able to order 1 (quantity) original photo book. To order duplicates, click on the link at the bottom of the specific product page.  
4. Click on the Continue Shopping button to be returned to the Products page to shop more.
5. When ready to check out, click on the check out button and complete the order form.
6. Remember to type in the personal text you wish to have printed on the back jacket flap of your photo book in the space provided on the order form.

When you provide the electronic images of the kids artwork to be included in your book, please follow these specifications. Images that do not meet these specs will not be used. Our photo books print with commercial quality 4-color printing at 300 DPI, though we can accept images down to 150 DPI.  The largest photo size accepted is 3900 x 3300 pixels.

 Images must meet the following guidelines:

Ideal image resolution for 10"x 8" books*:

• Cover: min 1735 x 1388 pixels; max 3038 X 2555 pixels
• Interior pages full bleed: 2884 X 2471 pixels
• back flap: 796 x 525 pixels 

* resolutions are approximate.

When supplying your own digital images, please adhere to our image specifications to ensure you get the BEST looking photo book possible. Be sure to include the artist's last name in the image file names.

To send the images:  

• Mail us a CD containing your digital images OR
• Email the digital images to info@thepicassokid.com using YouSendIt.com* (FTP service) OR
• Upload the images to a web based storage site (e.g. Flickr) .**

* When using www.YouSendIt.com, please save all your files to a folder, zip it (with an application like WinZip or StuffIt), and upload it. We will receive a notificiation and will email you to let you know we have received your images.

**You must provide us with your login/password so we can retrieve the images. Name the folder containing the images "The Picasso Kid" or "TPK." Condensing the images (e.g. zip file) will make transmission quicker.
